The Green & White Sustainability Project
The initiative "Green & White sustainability" is a collaboration with the ice hockey club Rögle in Ängelholm, Sweden, with the aim of creating activities that lead to increased physical activity and inclusion for children and adults. The idea is to increase collaboration between organisations, companies and local authorities to contribute to a more sustainable society.
The Green & White sustainability initiative has projects in a number of different areas:
Work to highlight and counteract the negative trend of increased mental illness among children and young people. To get more children and young people to participate in physical activities and increase knowledge about the benefits of an active lifestyle.
A meaningful everyday life is of great importance for our well-being. If you don't study or work you often experience exclusion - the feeling of not being part of society. The goal is to break isolation and create more ways to permanent employment.
Not everyone has the same possibilities to participate in everyday activities and we should adapt activities so everyone can join. By increasing knowledge about children and young people's different prerequisites we can create opportunities for more people to be able to participate.
