Internal Technical Sales Engineer

Due to continued growth and expansion within Lindab Groups offering of products to the construction industry, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join the in-house technical team.

Lindab is an international group that develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes ventilation products and system solutions for simplified construction and improved indoor climate. The products are characterised by their high quality, ease of assembly, energy efficiency, consideration towards the environment, and are delivered with high levels of service.

Role Profile

Based at our head office in Dublin 12 and reporting directly to the technical sales office manager, the main focus of this role is to provide accurate product selection and commercial offerings to our large and diverse range of customers with a view to help grow the division.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare quotations for incoming tender / contract enquiries.

· Correct interpretation of customers’ requirements from schedules and specification documents for varying project types.

· Process orders & progress with dispatch department.

· Develop and maintain good working relations with customers.

· Successfully achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

· Liaise with credit control, customer service, and transport departments.

· Keep up to date with market conditions and market trends.

· Work in conjunction with External Sales Personnel to provide back-up service and project management for new and existing projects.

· Effectively manage own area of responsibility.

· Agree to implement goals and objectives with timelines with the Technical Sales Managers in line with the company sales strategy.

· To undertake other duties/responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time.

 

Candidate will possess

· Experience and knowledge of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry.

· Self-motivation, ambition, drive, and thirst to succeed.

· Be outgoing, positive and results orientated.

· Have an excellent technical and commercial aptitude.

· Be a strong communicator and have strong IT skills in order to use Lindab software selection programmes.
